EMMY Award Winner Tyce Diorio has been a powerful force in the entertainment industry since he was a teenager. Originally from Brooklyn, Diorio attended New York City’s famed High School of the Performing Arts and, at only 17, he won Star Search while setting a new record with a perfect 4-star rating each week. After moving to Los Angeles to dance in Paula Abdul’s videos and world tours, Diorio’s talents truly blossomed; He eventually worked with artists such as Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Mya, *NSYNC, Kelly Osbourne, Céline Dion and Toni Braxton. In addition to performing on numerous TV shows and films, Diorio also starred in the Tony Award winning Broadway hits Fosse and Chicago.

As a choreographer, Diorio has become one of the most in-demand and recognized names in the industry. On FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance (in which he is a recurring choreographer and guest judge), Diorio won an EMMY Award for “Outstanding Choreography” for his renowned “Adam and Eve” piece, as well as his captivating tribute to breast cancer. Using dance as a medium to transcend hope, fear, and all the emotions relating to cancer, Diorio brought the audience, judges, and contestants to tears. Also on SYTYCD, Diorio directed a special recreation of Judy Garland’s “Get Happy” staring Katie Holmes.

Diorio has contributed to other major projects including Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime, Grey’s Anatomy on ABC, Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon, the People’s Choice Awards (with Queen Latifah), the MTV Movie Awards (with Tom Cruise and Jennifer Lopez), commercial campaigns for “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” (starring Megan Mullally), and the feature film What to Expect When You’re Expecting (starring Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Matthew Morrison and Megan Mullally). In the world of theatre, Oklahoma at The Fulton (which earned rave reviews) stands as one of Diorio’s proudest achievements.

In the music industry, Diorio is at the top of his game. In addition to working with legends like Cher on her long-running show at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Diorio was the choreographic force behind Taylor Swift’s RED World Tour and performances. Working closely with Swift, Diorio created numbers for The Brit Awards, Billboard Awards, Grammys, American Music Awards, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Diorio continues to choreograph for Swift on her projects, including her famous “Shake It Off” video.

With his diverse dance vocabulary, wide-range of experience, and positive approach, Tyce Diorio continues to make his mark in the world of choreography and creative direction.
