Changing the course of homeless children’s lives through dance in Rwanda

MindLeaps creates dance and education programs for street children and out-of-school youth in post-conflict and developing countries. MindLeaps uses a kinesthetic-based curriculum to improve the cognitive skills of youth to ensure they can go to school, enter the workplace and leap forward in life.

Specifically in Rwanda, the program is working to get homeless children off the street and into a structured environment that generates a positive impact in their lives. Misty Copeland was inspired by the program to go there and teach classes to these young kids! 👊🏼
